Canadian-born owner Darren Bindert decided to open Café Aroma for a number of reasons. First, coffee is a people-business, and he's definitely a people-person. Smiling, welcoming, and very friendly, it's obvious that both he and his staff enjoy being around people, creating a lovely warm atmosphere that strikes you almost as soon as you enter the shop.
They offer a consistent drink of smooth-tasting coffee, using only the highest quality Fair Trade and organic coffees. From their simple filter coffee to their full line of Cappuccino's, Mocha's and Latte's, all the coffees are sweet, balanced, full-bodied, and smooth. Their tasty baguette bread is freshly baked on premise with dozens of handmade-to-order sandwich options. Their range of cakes and pastries are seldom seen outside of top-class restaurants or hotels.
Apart from all that, it's a cool place to hang out with all day jazz music adding to the ambience.
